727 plus mushroom cloud Photo

Photographer’s Note

Took this shot from a friend's house in Quito Tenis. This mushroom cloud occured right above volcano Antisana which was scary at first sight. Looked as if it errupted and the snowy peak got vaporized. Didn't happen though. The TAME 727 you see in the upper left corner just left UIO and thunders out of the city. I do not own a polarizer, btw. This is the ecuatorian sky...

Not again, an airplain! :P I think that you are obsesionado with those things...
anyway... seems like you have here two pictures... one from the city and the surroundings, and the other, of the sky and the airplane. The details of the city is good, sharp.

Hi Andreas. Great capture. Nice contrast between the busy city scene at the bottom and the big mostly empty sky at the top. Well composed and thanks for sharing.
