Panoramic view of the old town of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, with the hill of El Panecillo in background. On top of this hill there is the statue of the Virgin of Quito, patron saint of the city.
Despite being in the heart of the tropical zone, Quito has a temperate climate, due to its altitude.

Fascinating cityscape, your angle is excellent to show so much of the city, and how it sprawls around the hills. It looks quite immense! The hill with its statue is perfectly positioned in the frame too.
All the best

I like the POV and depth in this photo. There is one particular street that cuts through the middle, leading us into the distance and to the hill. I like the dense collection of houses and buildings, too. It is a lovely cityscape.

A wonderful vantage point over Quito. The quality of light is very beautiful: I like how the deep shadows in the foreground give way to a dreamy bright background. The contrasting dark green of the hill of El Panecillo really stands out too and you a great winding line leading the eye to that main part of your picture.

Hello Pedro - This is a super overview of Quito, so clean and crisp and taken from an excellent vantage point. I like the way you have used the main road to lead the eye directly to the hill and statue and the detail here is very well captured. We don't see many shots from this part of the world so TFS. Warm regards Rosemary
