Photographer’s Note
Well, I keep posting older shots from my trip to ecuador, but it's just because, I'm housesitting for my parents, they are in Italy, and my dad didn't leave his brand new Nikon D70 for me to play with, so all I have out here are old photos - I'll be back with new stuff soon.
Anyways, these two happy kids are Ecuadorian and I think he was 5 and his kidsister 3, they were playing with a nocturnal monkey named BOO! Due to his big wide open eyes. BOO! Had like many of the other monkeys I met in Ecuador been to domesticated to be set free, so these two amazing kids were taking care of him. They both spoke 3-5 languages and knew more about rainforrest preservation than I could ever learn..

this is a great shot! love between a brother and a sister... it reminds me of a photo my father took on a christmas morning when i was 7 and my sister 2. we were both going to the Xmas tree and i wa holding my sister by her hand. this photo has become THE family photo by excellence and is regarded as such my my parents, my sister and I;-) This one is in the same vein for me;-) bravo!

One feels the joy of the children, beautiful catch.
Damage for framing one can too court for the top of the image.
Seen well with the black and white.

I just like the expressions of all involved. They are having lots of fun. As to Boo, I'm not sure, but he seems to be tolerating them.

Wonderful photo! The girl's expression is pure childish excitement and I love the look on the boy's face. The smudge on his cheek adds to the story in the picture. BOO! is very photogenic and I think he knows it too from the look on his face. :0) I like the use of black and white as it allows me to just focus on their expressions and the scene. Very good job!

It's not perfect but for the great expression and emotions one can forgive it :). Nice story also

Et billede som vinder meget ved den meget spontane og naturlighed som er i det.
Fint a holde det i S/W.

Great photo. You can feel the happiness of those kids. I wish the picture would be a bit more sharper but You managed to catch the moment and that is most important.

You cold not have chosen a better medium than black and white to capture the air of happiness around this trio. If the world was just as innocent as you have captured it, it would have been called heaven. Great shot - Thanks for being the first to welcome me in TE - Japie

Wonderfully expressive candid. The wide smile of the girl and wide eyes of the boy (and perhaps the monkey) en-liven this composition. Well done.

How great. Everyone looks like they are having a fabulous time. You caught the moment of joy very well. I like that it is B&W too. Makes me wish I was a kid again! :)

You really captured a great moment! The contrast makes it perfect for b&w, too. I wish the photo were sharper or less pixelated or something, but maybe that's just caused by compressing the file?
