[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Pippi and as far as I remember Christian. I took this picture at the scholl which is part of the project I worked in, in Ecuador. It was taken at a school play, where the 22 Quichua kids played out a story about a little man from the forrest, it's an old Quichua legend and it was great fun to see. Theese two kids were the narators, and they read in Spanish and in German. The woman who funds the school is Swizz and she wants the kids to know German, to give them a better chance to work in tourism when they grow up. Pippi is the daughter of the woman who runs (not funds9 the project and she is fluent in German, so when Christian had some trouble with the pronounciation pippi happily gave a hand....

I know, the elbows shouldn't have been cropped, but remember i'm still nervous about people :o)

Great image. Beautiful B&W portrait. Great light. Good moment. I like expression on they faces.
Regards

Hello dear Line!!! So good to see you with this lovely double portrait. It's a fine moment as well, Pippi leaning over to Christian and reading with him. I love the concentration on their faces, and on Christian's face you cab really scoop the puzzled looks.
Very nice B&W tones, Line, lovely picture!

What beautiful children you bring to the board Line. I've been using duotone of late and very much appreciate this treatment you've chosen. The one change I likely would have made is to crop the right side as you have on the left though that is a personal choice, no doubt. Wonderful tonal range and excellent sharpness. I don't miss the elbows by the way... ;-)

Keep them coming Line!

By the way, it might be nice if you wrote a travelogue of your trip so we could put your photos into a context. Rinie did that for her trip to Mongolia. She documented her trip to South America as she posted photos along the way, but she also created a theme to organize images she and others whom she met on the trip took. You might wish to consider a travelogue. I'd love to read the story of your remarkable journey.
