[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in Ecuador; the city coast you see is Manta. Manta is in the North of Ecuador. This picture was taken on a secluded part of the beach when I climb down a path from a bar/ resturant on top of the ridge (located on the south outskirts of Manta). This photo was taken late in the afternoon; throughout the morning this area was overcast with fog/mist; so I was lucky to get some good colors here :)

Esta fue tomada en Ecuador; la costa de la ciudad que usted ve es Manta. Manta está en el norte del Ecuador. Este cuadro fue adquirido en una parte aislada de la playa cuando baje de una trayectoria desde una barra de un resturante encima del canto (situado en las cercanías del sur de Manta). El tiempo fue tomado la tarde; a través de la mañana esta área era cubierta con neblina; fuí muy afortunado al conseguir tan buenos colores aquí:)

Hola Michael, preciosa fotografía marítima y refrescante con las altas temperaturas del verano. Me gusta la composición de la fotografía partiendo de esta roca en primer plano (con forma de cara), que no lleva por la costa dejándonos ver el mar.

Hard contrasts land... I don't like buildings on the beach... but the shot is however interesting!

Hi Michael, appropriate title for this one. Those are strange rock formations formed along the beach. Great seascape here with good colour and clarity. This looks kind of rough with the escarpment so close to the water. I don't know why, but I've always seen and thought of Ecuador as being a hilly mountainous country, of course not thinking of the long coast it has too.
