[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in a small town in Northern Ecuador named Santa Ana; this is the Portoviejo river that flows down from the coastal mountains. Higher in the mountains is a power-plant in Poza Hondaso; this river is a major contribution to the power and electricity for the towns and cities all the way to the coast of the city Manta. A span of severval hundred miles.

I can see why you are eager to return to this lovely area. Your photo conveys a great sense of peace with its soft reflection in the river. Larry

Great picture, made at the right moment! Like the reflection, both vertical as horizontal (since the picture is almost symmetric)! Love the colours (maybe add a litte more contrast) and composition (although it is too bad the picture isn't totally vertical, but that's probably the hill or not?). Thanks for sharing!
