Photographer’s Note

Saturday is market day in Otavalo. It's the biggest and most famous market in Ecuador. The action begins early in the morning with the animal market, where pigs, llamas, cows, and other livestock are traded in joyful chaos. The entire town is taken over by the market, with several different areas: produce and vegetables, clothing, food stalls and crafts. Otavalo is known for its fine weaving. The local people wear their traditional outfits -- a good place for people photography. What a colourful mixture of humanity!

This is a repost because I got comments that the first one was muddy. I hope I fixed it with auto levels.
