| Well, I thought this was kind of funny. Actually I wanted to buy one of these but already ran out of money. This isn't normal chess since you do not play "black piece vs white piece" but "Spanish vs Indians". The men looked really funny and actually this period of history doesn't belong to the funnier ones... I found that on the very popular market of Otavalo some 100km in the north of Quito. your picture got my atencion because i just posted a picture of one of this chess, it's true, they are kind of funny and original, ther are actually made of flour and some other "natural" things. i only have a little one though :(
