| In 2000, the desire to study a further language led me to Ecuador. This beautiful country is so rich of nature that even three months were not enough to explore even a half of it. Besides expeditions to sputtering volcanos, wild jungle rivers and cold mountain chains in the highlands, one of the most fascinating endeavours took me to Galapagos Iseland in the Pacific Ocean. Animals there were so confiding that while sun-bathing on the shore, suddenly a baby seal came to join me. Obviuosly it was too boring...it fell asleep instantly! |
