One more picture from the Galápagos islands. This picture of a marine iguana on a sandy beach of Santa Cruz. This place is called "dragon hill" which is pretty correct considered this iguana that seems come straight from prehistoric ages!
The visit paths in the Galápagos are precisely defined. One can't go everywhere he wants and the biologist tourist guides take care that everyone follows the rules.. unless the iguanas deal with it themselves! ;)

Hi Bertrand!
Good and funny shot of this typical animal from these fantastic islands.
I like your composition with this nice animal smiling at you and ignoring the sign.
A sharp image with good light and contrast and I like the curvy track left behind it`s tail.
Regards,leo

Salut Bertrand
Le stop c'est pour l'Iguanne ?
J'aime bien la composition on à l'impression que tu intrigue l'animal.
Bonne journée
Christophe

Like it was defending its terrotorium, not often seen photos from the Galapagos islands, well captured moment Bertrand, makes me think at a book I read about this island habitants.

Bonjour Bertrand,

J'ai craqué pour cette photo aussi. Pleine d'humour.

I see the humour in this - the lizard's facial expression, body posture, and the sign behind tell a story.
the strong sunlight casts some dark onto the subjects; i did a workshop to compensate if you'd like to see.
