Photographer's Note

The blue-footed boobies are one of the most seen birds in the Galapagos Islands, for they nestle near the coastline in many of the islands of the archipelago and also eat near their margins. They eat fish and marine invertebrates that they catch in the water. They are excellent fliers, able to reach great speeds and take advantage of the airflow to move.
