Floreana Island
Post Office Bay has had a barrel thats been
change many times, over the years. Whalers and Galapagos residents use to leave their mail inside
it, waiting for a captain of any boat headed to where the mail was addressed to deliver it.
The tradition still remains today
You can leave a letter in the box and when someone who lives near where you want to sent it see it, they will take it with them and deliver it upon their return home

wow what a jumble of things here, interesting shapes and objects

This could have been a cool photo. You might have tried some different angles as the subject matter is interesting but you have not made the subject 'pop' from the background.
I think there is a path or beach which would have helped together with a shallower depth of field.
