Photographer’s Note
So much is made of the wildlife of the Galapagos, that sometimes the landscape can be overlooked. It is always truly fabulous and often breathtaking, as I have hopefully captured in this shot.
Tech : Film negeative scanned in by the camera shop and resized in MSPaint.
The sizing issue with this is interesting. The image was scanned by the camera shop and comes out at around 1mb in size and something like 1536*1024. Resizing in Paint as I have done all the others on here means that it should in theory be the same size as all my other pictures. However something has gone awry in the conversion, making it a relatively small image. Will try and update the image to the correct size one day. Thanks for the comments though.

Lovely landscape. As you say, we normally see birds or large tortoise, but not the scenery.
It's a photo that is nice and very sharp, and it's a shame you didn't post a large shot.

Fantastic ! A very good ahot and I would agree with you and other comments that you don't think about a very special landscape when it comes to Galapagos.
Vety sharp, good colours, good DOF - well done !

quite interesting view of Galapagos, colorful with different textures. I like the cloudy sky and how it reflect over the lake.
Nice work

Very beautiful landscape. It's a pity it's not bigger ! It's colorful, sharp and the light and DOF are well managed. An impressive place. Thank's for sharing !

What a wonderful place! I've always wanted to go there since I first saw a National Geographic show about it when I was much younger. I envy you that you've been there already. Your composition, colors, focus really make this a wonderful photo.

Hi Nick,
the size of the image has already been mentioned but I still prefer this to your other post. Its sharp and colourful with great light. It's well balanced and I think the pov is perfect. A fine image and well seen.
Regards
Stephen
