I decided to repost this as it has been asked twice that it would be better larger (it was my first post and I didn't know how to set quality to get max TE image size). Also I have made some changes for comments about the cropping and made it more off-centre composition. I have left some of the mountains in as I think it adds some context. I also tried my new toy - a digital Velvia filter (learned about on TE) which increases the intensity and I like the colour, also I lightened it slightly.
I was also touched by Ahmed's comment that it reminded him of his mother.

Mother and child at Lake Quilotoa high in the mountains of Ecuador. Even in very hot sunshine the people wear many layers of clothes and the traditional hat to protect from the Equatorial sun.

Would appreciate any comments on if you think its improved.
