What a moving portrait: you seem to have captured and passed so many of her feelings through the lens. Her facial expression is amazing (not just the color of the eyes). Actually, your shot is very successful in that it gives a lot of emotions and mixed feelings... it is hard to be completely detached and treat her just as the subject of a picture.

great portrait Anthony. all you need for a great portrait is there and you caught it just right. i would say it lacks a bit of sharpness and contrast and is a bit small. but still a great work.

Un formidable portrait : Une excellente lumière sur le visage, la profondeur de champ juste comme il faut et une expression spontanée très intense. Il y a une tristesse fièrement refoulée et bien du défi chez cette fillette. Le titre est approprié.

Bravo tu as bien sû saisir le regard de cette enfant. Mais je trouve que ton image a une forte dominante jaunâtre, je me suis permis d'essayer de lui redonner les bonne teintes dans l'atelier.

I'm moved very much this photo. Even I do not know how to comment her. I know only that I look at the splendid portrait of the child in the special situation. The child wronged by the fate, despairingly and with the sadness in eyes. These eyes are an accusation for the present world for his lifelessness. Green eyes and fair hair; a fascinating genetic mix for South America. Where did she come from and where is she going? Those are the questions posed by your picture . But I don't want to knw the answer to the latter, I have seena more recent image of the Afghan girl by Steve McCurry.

This picture immediately caught my eye. It makes me wonder what is she biting or if anything at all. I prefer color over BW b/c her green eyes really draws you in or at least for me. I would change nothing about this pic =)
