An entrepreneur turned a Willys Colombian coffee in a caravan.
------------------------------------------------------
After 40 years of living around the grain, Francisco Franco calls his project 'Camperos Coffee'.

The businessman, who was born in Cairo (North Valley), dreams of being in the Fifth Avenue in New York selling to every Colombian coffee and a scarf.

Considers that the scarves will be needed when their compatriots cry of emotion to drink coffee processing in the original coffee built: in the body of an old Willys 52.

Concerned not only for the taste but for the scent, and with an investment of nearly $ 5,000 U.S., adapted the vehicle with the machines needed to roast and grind the beans, because it was convinced that "the smell is the one that sells."

Franco decided to share his idea with a partner capitalist Carlos Lievano, who has helped assemble four Willys more with the brand 'Camperitos Coffee', which offer their product in Pereira.

The business involved his entire family, because, he says, "the idea was to mount well cool." Therefore, dressed his wife, his daughter and her 13-year-old son of 8 years with the costumes of the chapolera and caficultor, that someone took his red felt in the coffee.

It also allowed 'Metralleta', a popular guitarist in Cartago, gave their music concerts peasant beside the vehicle.

Such was his success that he stayed in Cartago. There, between 6:00 pm and 12:00 midnight, people do row to enjoy a delicious drink, only $ 0.25 ctvs U.S.. Coffee or a U.S. $ 0.80 ctvs. Cappuccino. It also sells amaretto, carajillo, express coffee crazy.

Franco, a simple man of 40 years, said that the project originated in 2003 in Quimbaya (Quindío), when he thought he wanted to give something authentic. Then met the U.S. $ 3,000 that it cost the old Willys model 52 and is charged with costal filled with coffee and images of typical elements and the flag of Colombia.

Life Franco has always been coffee. At 12 years and was a collector of the grain farm of his people. But one day, all wet by rain and bitten by mosquitoes said it is not mine.

Then I asked my mom a 'pot' full of coffee. Then I went to the farm and sold them to one hundred workers ... I finished quickly.

Then he went to Cartago, where he began working with tricycles, which is still operating, selling red in the day, then was in a Rural Suzuki and later in an old Volkswagen van. Both attempts were unsuccessful and left him only losses.

But their luck changed with the 'Camperitos Coffee', with which every evening in Cartago, Pereira and other locations, offers drinks, while dreaming that someday may walk through the capital of the world.

"It is not just a red one which I sell is something else, we sell homeland because the Willys has forged area coffee," he says proudly.

Hola John
Qué toma atractiva con esos colores tão fuertes y bien retratados. Excelente nitidez y contrastes. La apertura 6.3 ha sido bien elejida para dar el desenfoque al plano del fondo y eso hizo esplendido destaque para el objeto principal. Excelente trabajo. Saludos, Consuelo

Hi John,
Very nice capture of this jeep with an appealing light. The B&W and blurry background bring out the colours very nicely. Well captured!
Regards,
Lars

a nice, vivid colored, lovely picture and car

Hello John,
It seems like a model car, because it is incredible sharp. Amount of the blur in the background is given appropriately. The perfection might increase further if the blot of yellow seen in the roof is suppressed.
Splendid high definition, again!
Have a nice weekend, Hisashi

Buen trabajo!

Hola John,
Bonita composición llena de colores atractivos.
Tuvo mucho placer leyendo tu nota.
Gracias por compartírnosla.
Un abrazo,
Marianne

hola John

a funny car portrait. I agree with your desaturation approach even though the background blur seems a tad unnatural. well managed colors and detail on the subject.

my compliments and TFS
