a very well composed picture, well presented too! The giant tree placed in the center works well, showing us all its majesty, and well contrasted by the sky in the bg. The 2 cows are also perfectly placed with the result of a very eye-catching shot.

Very interesting composition. And interesting to see that there are Dutch cows there - well, at least the left one!
True, the greens are fresh. Almost makes me wish I'd be a cow there ;-). And the picture is very nice is depth of focus and in sharpening. Hey, this is what I like to see! :-D

Normalmente todas tus imagenes son de excelente calidad, así no comparta que algunas de ellas esten expuestas en TE.
Tus últimas secuencias, son maravillosas, muestran esta Colombia viva, trabajadora y hermosa en la cual tenemos la oportunidad de vivir. Tus imagenes son limpias,nitidas, claras lo cual resalta su belleza. Quisiera que me contaras, para aprender del Aprendiz, como haces los marcos que realzan la belleza de la imagen.

Hi John,

Terrific photo, the twin cows are almost identically the same distance from the tree however one looks destined to be a milk cow and the other one for meat. You provide the perfect amount of FG before passing into the streak of reflective water. Usually in photography you try and place things off centre for effect. The fact that there are 3 subjects of interest (2 cows, 1 tree) there is a visual imbalance of the odd number so it works fine. It would be different if there were only one cow. The depth is well extended far into the background where I can see some tall hills and passing mist. Great setting John!

excellent photo, John, the green colour looks so rich and fresh that I have to agree with Dennis - it must be great to be a cow there :) I like a lot the composition you have chosen, the strong vertical line created by the tree and its reflection contrasts nicely with the several horizontal lines, and the symmetry certainlt is the strong point. perfect sharpness too. this is very good work, my friend, I like it very much.

It is perhaps a usual scene but which beautiful composition, I like much this nicely structured green landscape. This tree is of any beauty and I appreciate the light reflection in the pond. The two cows create a beautiful balance with the image. Very beautiful realization John, cheer.

Has mostrado antes fotos de este lugar. Me encanta, tiene una atmosfera de paz. El juego de diferentes planos muy buenos, el reflejo de las imagenes en el agua muy bueno. Los colores un poquito saturados, sin embargo me gusta el efecto.

¡ qué maravilloso lugar ! sería como el paradigma de la solitud acompañada.

El título es muy ingenioso y acertado para la gran fotografía. El manejo de la luz es excelente, y la composición muy elaborada y elegante. Además, las proporciones o distancias entre los elementos son idénticas! Fantásticos colores, muy naturales y crean una atmósfera de paz y tranquilidad totalmente envidiables.

¿Cómo convenciste a las vacas para que posaran así de perfectas? Confiesa John! ;-)

what a beautiful tree! It spreads across the frame and is balanced by the two single cows as if precisely placed like ornaments on a mantel piece. Your image is very sharp, allowingus to enjoy the glass like surface of the water, i like the verdant cool too. An unusual and lovely composition.

looks like the 2 cows intentionally placed the big tree in between them for you to capture this vast verdant green scenery! i like the tittle you have chosen, fits well here.

es una gran foto, muy bien compuesta y con los elementos perfectamente situados para conseguir un buen efecto visual.
El encuadre es bueno, has centrado el espléndido árbol y lo has flanqueado con las dos vacas, y los reflejos en el agua, así como el resto del verde paisaje en este día gris, completan la escena.

Hi John,

An excellent example that breaking the rules can be effective. Here the tree in the center make a wonderful composition, perfectly balanced by the 2 cows placed milimetric on the frame. Nice lithg and contrasts as well.

Hola John,
De echo, es curioso como cogiste los animales tan simétricamente. El echo de no seren del mismo color torna la imagen más interesante. Claro que el resto de la compo también es muy importante - el arbole es fantástica, muy pintoresca y la lagunita y todo aquel verde la hacen muy, muy bella.

Me gusta este encuadre natural enmarcando este bello paisaje, en una imagen con mucho encanto y con una luz muy bien equilibrada.
El relieve de las colinas del fondo aporta profundidad, el gran árbol custodiado por las dos vacas pastando y la pequeña laguna como soporte de la composición hace de tu trabajo una agradable y creativa composición.
