In The Distance We Can See, My Homeland
....................................................

In the distance we can see, my homeland.
I do not see the holy hour of being there.

Will come to my mind beautiful memories,
happy childhood that I will never forget.

We are already arriving, I'm getting close,
I can not keep my eyes weep.

Between valleys and mountains, rivers that supply its seas,
and the blue sky that are the heritage of my songs.

Fragments of an old song by Jairo Varela (My Hometown)
