The region's coffee-growing region in Colombia, is highly rich in natural resources, agricultural and livestock.

Apart from that, the man tries to make the most of the elements that the earth produces.

The Department of Risaralda and north of the Department of Valle, through rivers Cauca and La Vieja, operates on a craft, the extraction of rock and sand (suitable for construction) from the banks and bottom of these rivers, which , for his immense wealth and career, are rich in sediment

A tradition that has been manifesting from generation to generation, a gruelling job, hard, but so dignified and so full of courage.

Evening John,

Quite a special one, describing the daily life very well, and yet its so beautiful, great scenery, you`ve shown it very nicely. Superb colors, contrasts and sharpness. A spirited photo.

Hello John!
Fine composition, there`s a kind of diagonal between the two main points of interest here - the empty boat in lower left and the working man.
Good colors and sharpness. Interesting note too!

Esta composicion esta muy bien balanceada, me gusta como el bote en primer plato se ubica de diferente manera de los otros. La inclusion del hombre trabajando realza la imagen.

Bravo compañero!! Fantástica fotografía John,
nos muestras una de las riquezas de tu país con estos sueños de arena, podemos ver al trabajador en plena faena y todas las herramientas de trabajo, fantástica composición en la que aparte de enseñarnos uno de los recursos naturales y un ejemplo de la vida diaria, también entra en juego la faceta artística, ya que con tu enfoque vemos la profundidad de imagen y el juego lineal que forman las barcas. Gran luz y colores!!

Hola John,

Buena composición, con un tono documental verdaderamente interesante. Es digna de ver esta barca tan tosca... los colores arenosos contrastan muy bien con el verde del fondo, y la figura del hombre trabajando da vida a una escena más bien "mortecina", pero bella! Me gusta mucho!

Thanks to present to us (at least to me) a part of the world I do not know so much.
From this point of view, it is quite a photo reportage showing the day life of those guys.
I like the composition with the boat on the left driving the look to the other boats and the man working.
