Cathedral of Our Lady Of Carmen

Following the previous delivery, and although the site had already released some time ago, I want to bring as filing a new job, with a different angle, in a different time:

- A different angle because this scenario is majestic and distinctive by having as few in the world, the tower separated some distance from the rest of the church.

- In a different time, because since in Colombia on almost 18:00 hours begins to darken, the sunlight was on the structure of a side with a mask coloration bone white paint, which I thought was unusual.

Annex also two WS one with an image detailed side view from the back corner of the block, and one against-chopped the tower.

I hope it will be to the liking of everyone.

fantastic photo with exceptional clarity, I like a lot how the warm light on the white walls contrasts with the blue sky and shiny cupolas. I also like the slight tilt, it creates a nice impression that the Cathedral is about to fly. excellent work, my friend, compliments!

guauuuuuu fantásticos colores y definición de imagen!
Pero ¿es la torre de Pisa la que asoma la nariz por la izquierda? jejeje ;-) es coña.

Un encuadre diferente y arriesgado, muy atractivo y con una perspectiva arquitectónica excelente. Me gusta la gran luz y contraste de colores.

Hola John.
Aunque no suelen llamarme la atencion este tipo de fotografias he de decir que esta me gusta mucho.La catedral blaca teñida por el atardecer,la cupula azul,el contraste con el azul mas intenso del cielo,la nitidez,y la variedad de detalles que permite la perspectiva(me parece ver...hay una grieta bajo la cupula?)es muy estupenda.Buen tabajo.

Your POV provides too much effect on the perspective.. the towers seems to fall because of the exaggerated inward distortion.

Veo que no soy la unica a quien les gusta los edificios inclidados. Este es muy bonito contre un cielo tan azul. La nitidez es muy buena y me gusta el pequeño juego de sombras.

Bonjour,
Belle photo de cette cathédrale a l' architecture magnifique mais combien difficille a comprendre.Ces collonnes et cette petite partie triangulaires au dessus comme chez les romains,ce beau dôme terminé par une croix a 6 branches, pour terminer par une très belle tour.
Le tout est très beau a visionner.

Fantastic photo! The sharpness is superb, the cathedral is brought out wonderfully against the cloudless, blue sky, the light is gorgeous and gives a lovely golden hues to the stone and the details can be seen very clearly. I find the composition spot-on. Thanks for sharing!

Hola John,
La catedral es muy bonita y majestosa y se presenta aquí con una luz estupenda bajo ese cielo azul como los techos. Me gusta la perspectiva muy picada y aun que la inclinación no me incomode, creo que la derecha podría estar mas vertical.
Los WS's también están muy logrados y son un buen complemento de la visión del edificio, pero me parece que ficarian mejor menos inclinados hacia a izquierda.

crispy clear capture of the cathedral, my friend. i like the warm light and the selective color palette. the diagonal take allows you to fill the frame with as much of the CATHEDRAL as possible without getting distracting ambient details in.

Desde luego ese color marfil le da un toque de suavidad muy singular. La arquitectura es muy bonita y al estilo de las iglesias italianas con el campanario separado. Bien hecho.
