"Remembering Elvis?"
Perhaps it is utopian writing, but to make this shot, I just came to mind, a legendary image of one of the precursors of Rock'Roll: Elvis A. Presley, not because the character of the sculpture represents her identity, but because the position in which it finds itself, by the dynamism that radiates artistic expressiveness of this work.
I am convinced that this series, which conclude today, should have been less kind of photographic flaws, for the excesses of light, which caused me difficulties to dominate, and thus avoid areas' burned ', but the goal of representing a cultural aspect and artistic within a city that gives you honor, has been met.
Friends, John

Jordi

A very nice one in this series. The lighting here is quite nice. I can tell it must have been hard to photograph these, but you did a fine job, and the subjects were very interesting! TFS and have a great day!

hola john
i agree, technically not one of your best shots (the sky seems quite exaggerated), but it sure serves well as a highlight of columbian culture. that sculpture garden seems impressive.
warm regards,

Hi John,
Again a really good photo of one of those sculptures of musicians. The colours are well saturated and very appealing, and also the light is fine. Very well done!

Hola John,
nice your last dedication to the anonymous musicians with this guitarist statue that contrasted perfect with the other colors of the scene.I like the brilliant light that is spread in the area as the vivid colors. The pose is nice and the sharpness unique.Informative your note.

hello John,
difficult shot for sure, the statue is completely in shadow while the clouds are very bright, it would be interesting to calculate the dynamic range of the scene. but I think you managed quite well, I particularly like the intricate guitar where the wire mesh is clearly defined.
and I agree with what you say in your note about the Elvis-like posture of the statue :) it was a nice series, I enjoyed the photos.
with best regards,
Kristine

Hi, John,
I have really enjoyed this series and under such difficult lighting conditions, you did an excellent job. I really like the composition in this and the contrast of the warm bricks and the dark sculpture. The sky backs it up beautifully and the colors are wonderful. REALLY nice work! Many thanks and kindest wishes,

This statue is really funny and interesting. A lot of energy, of moves... The close crop & pov are the reason of this effect. Very well seen.

Hola John,
Bello trabajo, amigo.
Un abrazo,
Josep
