When I arrived to the warm sands of the beaches that have Covenas in the Colombian Caribbean, I found it incredible to see how a small tree, mangrove-style, could grow and be strengthened on a series of stacked stones, placed by the locals, for cutting various waves that bathe the shores.

In turn, it was my center of attention for trying to establish interesting compositions, based on the seabed, and some other boat that made its way through the place.

This is a very pretty picture. Nice composition. It's amazing that that tree can grow in all those rocks! I like the simplicity of this scene. Very nice detail, colors and lighting. TFS

Yes indeed, it is incredible how a tree can grow in such place. It is a superb photo with the little boat in the horizon. Very nice beach colours too. Well done.

Encantada encontrarme aquí de nuevo y ver a tus bonitas fotos!
Aquí, nos presentas una composición excelente, con una luz muy agradable y una impresión de serenidad total.
Increíble ver a este árbol llegando de las piedras!!
La única cosa que puedo añadir es que con un punto de vista más abajo, el árbol se hubiera destacado del mar, y haría un contraste perfecto sobre el cielo.

A very nice sea's landscape and a superb view. Composition cery simple but very efficience and very nice with a POV very well selected and well collected too with the sand and the lonely tree. The boat in the BG is very well located too.

Hello John,
what a pleasant, beautiful view with this very distant, fragile boat and a green beautiful lonely tree in the FG! Philosophically speaking, these stacked stones is the only thing which "connects" these two absoloutely different "creatures" one of which is free and can travel anywhere about the sea, and the other is bound to stand forever at the same place greeting the free boats passing by.
Very beautiful photo wish a good mood, indeed!

Muy poética... Simples, pero muy bonita y atrayente. Hay una especie de dialogo visual ente el árbol solitario, el velero y las rocas. Solo en los trópicos se podría tener esta visión de un árbol llena de vida, muy verde em cima de unas rocas a la orilla del mar.

La verdad que la luz sobre todo es muy buena,
me gusta esa textura que adaptaste jugando con la definición, un paisaje muy agradable y de gran tranquilidad, es interesante ver ese arbol entre las piedras y tan cerca del mar, buenos detalles!

Ayer voté el otro ángulo y hoy le toca a este. me encanta ese solitario árbol junto al mar. El barco le da equilibrio a la composición y profundidad. Excelente la luz y los colores naturales.
