H...igh D...ensity Motors
---------------------------
I know that I am not repetitive exponent of such images, but could not avoid photographing a series of motorcycles of this style, lined up in a parking lot near an amusement park, close to where habit.
I am not fully knowledgeable of the mark HD, but I've been an admirer of their powerful engines. My ignorance on the subject led me to inquire on the Internet and meet with a fascinating history, which I want to publicize:
Harley-Davidson is the mark of a renowned manufacturer of motorcycles in the United States. Along with Indian, is considered one of the two original builders of motorcycles purely American, and now, more world-renowned American manufacturer.
The legendary first Harley-Davidson motorcycle had its humble beginnings in Milwaukee, USA in 1901, when William Harley, (21 years, and Arthur Davidson (20), created a prototype motorized bicycle.
This prototype was built in the garage Davidson, which half 3 m. by 5 m.
Once your prototype was functional, they were joined by two brothers Davidson, William and Walter.
The Harley-Davidson Motor Company was officially founded on August 28, 1903, and on that day, officially started its production.
The Harley-Davidson motorcycles are distinguished by their heritage, classical style, and evocation of adventures on the road and gangs of motorcyclists. His charm attracts followers faithful and enthusiastic motorcyclists, to the point of having become one of the most recognized brands of motorcycles worldwide, becoming the category of legend.
For most devoted followers, and members of motorcycle clubs, Harley-Davidson is more than just a motorcycle or a means of transport, is a lifestyle, love of freedom, a code of honor, camaraderie and brotherhood within and off-road.
Curiosities:
-------------
In 1902 friends and Artur Wiliams Harley Davidson to go comfortably to the factory where workers were trying to get a bicycle that is powered by a small gasoline engine.
Artur that was devoted to the design of parts in the factory where he worked immediately got to work to try to design a small air-cooled engine. When plans were completed in the basement of the house of Davidson, were devoted to putting into practice what they had designed on paper. The small engine made so precarious, with materials sometimes esperpento, some canned tomato job is to make the carburetor, had to end its inquiry.
The bike with the engine had not built enough power. His genius for not giving more and convinced the elder brother of Davidson, Walter to assist them in their efforts since their knowledge of mechanics to work on a railroad company.
Walter made an engine of 3 HP and other known, Ole Evinrude them design a carburetor. Ms. Davidson, mother of Artur and Walter, tired of chaos generated in the house with inventions manufactured in the basement, drove into the courtyard of the house. There, with more enthusiasm than money began building motorcycles in the courtyard door of the kneecap rimbombante behalf of Harley-Davidson Motor Company. She was born factory motorcycles more emblematic of the world.

Hi John,
My husband would love this picture. He has a Harley Davidson and he likes to ride it in the weekends. I confess that I don't like it or I'm afraid about it.Very beautiful and very well presented. Congratulations.

hello John,
what I like best about this photo is how nicelu you have framed it and how perfectly you have shown the shining metal, it's obvious that these bikes are lovingly cared-for my their owners :) the tight framing works really well to convey the power of these machines, and the golden "Harley Davidson" sign is just in the right place. excellent work, my compliments.
regards,
Kristine

Hola fiera.

Hi John,
I like the composition showcasing the brand name and the shiny metallic parts. I am not a bike rider but if I were one, this is what I'll get. Sharp and with attractive colors. Danilo

Hola John,
Saludos
Felip
