Natural Window

Colombia is a country of many contrasts and geographical landscape. Over and breadth of its territory, can be seen all types of climates and soils existing, from the dry desert (in the Department of La Guajira) to the more wooded and forested areas, such as those presented in the west or south of the country (departments of Chocó and Amazonas), even highly cold areas, snow-covered volcanoes and other hot enough, as the existing ones to the river banks Cauca and Magdalena.

But in the central region there are temperate zones of lush beauty, as I bring this to submit. These are areas to enjoy themselves and share in nature, breathe fresh air and relax with the landscape.

This is one of the many windows of my house Colombia, which are cordially invited.

SITE: Site is located between the towns of Cerritos (leaving the city of Pereira to the south) and the municipality La Virginia (Risaralda)

hola john

i like this framing you have chosen. the bush/branch opening really seems like a window open to the great scene in the background. serves as nice depth anchor too. very pleasant scene to look at in my opinion.

this is absolutely great photo, John, I like a lot how you have composed it, the natural frame perfectly directs the attention towards the distant view. and what a view it is! beautiful rolling hills, the multitude of layers create a strong sense of depth. excellent details, this is a very good work.

Bona nit John,
menuda joya de paisaje con la que nos deleitas hoy, además nos muestras la gran vista a través de la improvisada ventana ( eres un hombre con recursos e imaginación ;-), bravo, me encanta la idea!!
Y la vista es espectacular, es un regalo para nuestros ojos y nuestras almas, inmensa profundidad de campo a través de las colinas.
Gracias al encuadre que has realizado, haces volar nuestra imaginación e imaginarnos estar allí, gran POV!!

En definitiva, pienso que ya es hora de dejar de ser "El aprendiz" porque últimamente nos has presentado excelentes fotografías!!

Bonjour John,
astucieusement cadrée cette scène, entourée de 3 côtés par ces feuillages. Ils donnent un surplus de profondeur à la scène, bouchée par un ciel bien bas.
Un très bonne capture de ces lumières particulières et une scène bien naturelle.

me gusta esta ventana natural para enmarcar el bello paisae, en una imagen con gran profundidad y con una luz muy bien gestionada.
El relieve de las colinas es fantástico, aporta un bonito grafismo a esta composición creativa y muy agradable a la vista. Bien hecha.

El paisaje de tu país es tan bello, y me gusta mucho tu presentación y el encuadro aquí, con las hojas alredeor de la tierra. Las "ondas" de la tierra verde son muy lindas, también.

El paisaje es bonito pero con un cielo parecido hicistes bien de utilizar los arboles para encuadralo y para dar una originalidad. Esta muy bien hecho.

As the title says 'Natures window' and what a window. Very good framing on this wonderful view. Pity it's a bit cloudy as this could produce an even more stunning photo with the right light. Worth visiting again John and excellent none the less.
