Photographer’s Note

And along with photos of landscape, I would like to present this stage.

The land route leading from the city of Pereira to the Department of Valle del Cauca, there is a striking area for its natural beauty and splendor, where many people lower their vehicles to recreate the hearing, appreciating the landscape. So much so, that there is a willing lookout at that point, called the Viewpoint of Cerritos, where it can be seen as the River La Vieja cross between hills and trails in search of the Cauca River, which flows.

Achieving a picture here, I had difficulty side, since the conditions of light in the sky, are often not favorable; therefore, in due time a little early and take advantage of the low light conditions are presented.

I hope that is agreeable to all.

Hello John,
Amazing view, with a luxury vegetation and so many sweet curves!!
The river seems to be made of silver.
Personally, I would have cropped the sky, or left a bigger part of it even if it is over exposed.
Like this, I have the impression you wanted to hide it but could not.
Difficult choice ;-)
Anyway, the whole composition is beautiful.

i love green in general, so i could not help opening this thumbnail. a gorgeous foto, in my opinion. the light is excellent to bring out the texture of this place meanwhile, not too strong to render the greens yellowish. a great POV you have chosen with just the right foreground touch. a refreshing and eye soothing sight. wish i was there now :)

hello John,
this is really, really great photo, the lush green vegetation makes the scene look very fresh, I like it a lot. I also like how you have composed the photo with the river nicely leading the eye through it, and the grass you have left in the lower right corner is a very good accent. amazing textures and patterns, and I don't really mind the overexposed sky, I find the wisps of cloud add an interesting contrast to the rest of the scene. excellent work, my firned, compliments :)

Hola John,
nuevamente nos deleitas con una bella y viva fotografía. La vista que nos presentas desde el Mirador de los Cerritos es excepcional, de gran profundidad de campo.
Las verdes texturas de la vegetación y la diversidad en formas y tamaños de los cerros forman una composición excelente.
Todo y la dificultad con la luz y esa niebla que aparece en el fondo de la imagen, es resultado es muy interesante. Nos demuestras una técnica atractiva.

Esplendido paisaje y tan verde - es mi color preferido. me gusta mucho tu punto de vista y siento como si voy a caer en el rio. Hiciste muy bien con poco luz y los nubes dans un ambiente particular.

very beautiful and attractive shot. It's incredible how nature filled all that land with vivid greens. You knew how to bring life into my monitor. I like to see the sinuous river in the middle of that. Great work!

Excellent view from a high ground, John, the quality is really good as we can appreciate many different shades of green, it seems that the shot is a bit tilted to the right though...
