Ceiba Cuyabra
--------------
Ceiba is a botanical genus of flowering plants with 48 species belonging to the family of the Malvaceae.

The ceiba tree was considered sacred among the various pre-hispanic cultures of Mesoamerica area, such as Maya, Pipile, Nahua, and so on.

According to the worldview of these indigenous peoples, La Ceiba or Yaaxché, as you call in the Mayan language, the universe is structured in three planes, which are communicated through the sacred ceiba.

Likewise, according to the Mayan belief, are branches of this tree which allow the opening of the 13 heavens.

Precisely because of the importance that this tree represented for the Mayan people and other peoples Mesoamerican, used these planted in squares of their towns.

This takes up to one of the aspects both located in the central city of Armenia, capital of Quindio department.

Although I admit that the sky was not the best, because they appreciate burned areas, due to the time when it was taken (on-hour half day), the depth side of the street and inmesidad tree, called my attention.

Equally, I hope that is agreeable to all
