Una nena guayú, que viu al desert de la Guajira colombiana. Nosaltres vem dormir en una "enramada", penjadets en hamaques just a la sorra de la platja, i al matí, amb un sol imponent, aquesta nena venia collarets i pulseres entre els possibles turistes. Només hi erem nosaltres dos.

She is a guayu indian, and lives in the Guajira desert. She was selling little things, bags, potery, ..., but the only tourist in all Guajira I belive were my wife and me.

Is that a new camera?!? You took the plunge, it appears, opting for the Nikon D70. It is a first rate camera used by many folks at TE to great effect. Enjoy yourself with your new toy!

This image is a bit problemmatic because of the bright light in the background contrasting so strongly with the girl's beautiful face in the shade. You capture the girl's features, but there is a feeling in her forehead that the color has been bleached out by glare. I wonder whether you tried to use the dodge tool? In my experience, it requires a deft touch with that tool to have it turn out well. There is a bit of variation in tone at the right of her face as well that could come from a skin problem or post processing.

Hi Jordi,
I have looked at this girl the whole morning and was not able to make up my mind about this picture.
I agree with Curtis that the light is a problem here but the character the eyes the body language really make up for this

A good solution could be a tighter crop of her face with a bigger frame, masking removing most of the bright back light
