What a moving portrait: you seem to have captured and passed so many of her feelings through the lens. Her facial expression is amazing (not just the color of the eyes). Actually, your shot is very successful in that it gives a lot of emotions and mixed feelings... it is hard to be completely detached and treat her just as the subject of a picture.

Great Portrait excelent shot.

Wonderful intense gaze you've caught here Anthony and I love the pose, with her hands included in the shot. Colours seem very natural and I really like the tight crop. Very well done.

great portrait Anthony. all you need for a great portrait is there and you caught it just right. i would say it lacks a bit of sharpness and contrast and is a bit small. but still a great work.

What an expression!!! nice and appealing face,
I like the Tristan's workshop on this than its BW
counter-part, but still yellowish appearance in the original version defines the frustration slightly better.

I'm moved very much this photo. Even I do not know how to comment her. I know only that I look at the splendid portrait of the child in the special situation. The child wronged by the fate, despairingly and with the sadness in eyes. These eyes are an accusation for the present world for his lifelessness. Green eyes and fair hair; a fascinating genetic mix for South America. Where did she come from and where is she going? Those are the questions posed by your picture . But I don't want to knw the answer to the latter, I have seena more recent image of the Afghan girl by Steve McCurry.

I also really like the black and white workshop for this one - but the only thing I think is missing from it are her gorgeous green eyes you have in the colour version.

This picture immediately caught my eye. It makes me wonder what is she biting or if anything at all. I prefer color over BW b/c her green eyes really draws you in or at least for me. I would change nothing about this pic =)

A lovely sympathetic portrait of this soulful looking child - very nicely framed and the capture of a perfect moment - reminds me so much of photographs I took of my own children when they were young!
