Photographer’s Note
Bodyguards are a fact of life in Colombia and come in all shapes and sizes. This is one of the more elegant ones, although his concentration on the job is not 100%.

Interesting shot...talk about Daily Life! I think this is what TE is about, getting a glimpse into all parts of the world and all subjects for that matter. The angle is very Hollywood and given the fact that the guy is in shadow and the rest of the scene is in total sunshine, you nailed the exposure right. Maybe a B&W version would work as well. Good shot!

...This is part of the real-life, but it`s far for represent the totality of the Colombian nation...
How ever, i had discovered that the inhabitants of foreing countries have a distorsionated idea of the south american reality.
You can find violence every where, and droug, and prostitution etc. (as in your oun countries)... i guess you find this kind of photo "exotic", because talk about the "latin Macho" or something...
About the photo, i dont find nothing outstanding... a lot of elements for distract, and the deep of field don`t help it.
