A New Sunset - From Manizales City

After a long downtime due to heavy work, I do this again, with one of the natural landscapes that fascinate me: the sunsets. In particular spectacle offered by the various nuances that are formed when sunlight combines the sunset along the clouds, serving as filters to create the most diverse forms of light rays.

Averaging Sunday afternoon arrival to the city of Manizales.

The epilogue of the show is still in the urban environment: selling jackets, hats and crafts, face people with tourism, cars with license plates from other cities up and down the steep streets of this city from the center of the country. With nothing to do, what could happen to me at that time?

On one occasion he heard someone say that Manizales presents the most beautiful sunsets ...

Thought and done, I decided to keep pace with most people at that time that was moving toward the sector of Cyprus, a major traditional industry, visited by many and from where the view is great for any photographer.

Enjoying a rich wafer lined with coconut, I expected the ideal time for sunset (about almost 6 pm, and were the only 4:20), although it is suspected the sudden collapse of a downpour.

The light from the sun's rays were on stage at an angle of 45 degrees, and now foreseen that the journey would make in their decline. It was all a matter of wait and select the photo shooting angle more appropriate.

Among many, this image was the result of one of them. Hopes you will enjoy

Hola John,

I was curios about your long break but I'm glad now you are fine and returned with wonderful post.

The light is amazing especially with splendid beams through clouds. Fantastic capture of cloud shapes while adding silhouettes of mountain and trees at foreground. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

Beautiful sunset with wonderful colours and a great silhouette in the foreground. The sky is marvellous and the light trying to penetrate the heavy clouds is superb. Well done.

Hola John, me alegro mucho verte de vuelta a TE, ya te extranaba mucho, se que el trabajo es muy importante pero saca un tiempito para poder seguir disfrutando de tus magnificas fotos como esta que nos presentas a tu regreso, es muy buena, lindo atardecer con los rayos del sol saliendo a través de las nubes y creando una espectacular silueta con el árbol y las montanas. Muy bien captada desde un estupendo POV.

Hola John.
It's good to see your return to TE with this very moody but still subtle picture. The area of sunlight in the dark sky is beautiful, and the gradual darkening of the shapes of the mountains and the trees as we come to the foreground make a great effect. A bold and beautiful photo.

Hola amigo John,
el juego gráfico que nos ofrecen las siluetas en contraluz del primer plano, en combinación con las diversas capas del relieve del paisaje que se degradan en una interesante gama de grises, y sobre todo, los rayos del sol atravesando las nubes y dando una luminosidad especial al conjunto, forman una composición muy atractiva a la vista.
La realización es impecable, en una foto que inspira un fuerte sentimiento de paz.

Hola John,

esses pores-do-sol fascinam a qualquer um. Mas devo dizer que você conseguiu resgatar um atmosfera bem diferente das habituais. Os tons escuros nos trouxeram uma sensação de escuridão, mas com a "esperança" dos raios de luz entre as nuvens. As silhuetas das árvores é um ótimo contra-ponto. Bela imagem!

Bien venido de vuelta! Espero que el trabajo extra haya valido la pena.

Es realmente un atardecer de sueño, con el sol detrás del "agujero" en el cielo produciendo un efecto como qué divino. La silueta del árbol en primer plano da un equilibrio estupendo y la hace aun más especial.

Me gusta el contraste de claridad y oscuridad; la imagen tiene un aire melancolico y casi poetico. Me gusta la forma en que los rayos del sol penetran las nubes. Linda foto!

Se ven a menudo puestas de sol muy coloreadas, y debo decir que aprecio de ventaja aquél con sus colores muy delicados. Una imagen probablemente difícil a obtener. Bravo.
