Photographer’s Note
Cartagena is a beautiful colonial city in Colombia. The buidlings are vivid with colors, restaurants are top-notch, and the people are very warm. I recently went there for a Colombian friend's wedding and it was wonderful. The ceremony was held at the Iglesia de Sto. Domingo and the reception was at the beautifully restored Teatro Heredia. The one thing that I would remember of Cartagena though would be its beautiful hardwood doors. They were so interesting with its different design, unique knockers, and how each contrasts against the brightly colored buidlings.
