With the recent military confrontation between Russia and Georgia, and on a par with the conclusion that sports was being held in Beijing, I often wondered, how far when weapons exist?

Since time immemorial, these elements have been synonymous with discord and desires to establish supremacy brutal, has divided our people and our cultures.

The gunpowder, invented in China, was the main reason to be converted into spectacle, as we saw in past Olympic Games.

Those same weapons, these missiles, these same canyons, we might have given him a different treatment, perhaps in sports competitions for target shooting on cardboard silhouettes, as evidenced in the shooting competitions which were presented recently at the fair sports.

Nobody should be alien and indifferent, no reason to justify the fact hold a gun in their hands. And rather, should be turned into museum pieces, for the conscience of humanity.

Hola John,

I'm admire of your style to create splendid scenes from narrow spaces as we saw absolutely here too. Excellent addition of military tools in well designed courtyard. Natural tones of colors and sharpness are as same usual every time too. Congratulations.

Una sala muy bélica pero con unas piezas antiguas magníficas. Muy buen punto de vista y excelente definición.
Las armas existirán...siempre, mientras exista el hombre y su codicia, ellas estarán con nosotros...lamentablemente.

As long as men live and breathe and are dissatisfied with their lot there will be wars and weapons. It seems to be an unfortunate fact of life. Fine museum image of the weapons of times gone by. I wonder how many people were killed by the weapons on display here.

Interesting story about the old style weapon, now weapons are more advanced, in ancinet age human need some simply weapons to fighting and catching animals, dissappointed when we use it for war, good pov to show different types of weapons, thanks for sharing.

Es curioso como a pesar de la presencia (importante para la compo y la ilustración de la nota), una de las cosas que me atrae en la foto es la atmósfera de tranquilidad, que creo ser creada por el encuadramiento magnifico que hiciste y los colores suaves, que solo son contrariados (muy bien) por las banderas. La tarea de lograr compos realmente buenas como esta en esas condiciones (sin espacio para recular, con demasiadas lineas derechas susceptibles de resultar en perspectivas extrañas, etc.), entonces mi admiración es aun mayor.
