Making a Difference (100 Photos in TE)

Dear friends, I have come to hang this in our portal 100 photos. And coming to this small seat, I must say that I felt never set goals, just the kind of show an image of my country through photography and learn every day in this field that we love, proceeds from your lessons, opinions and advice.

Throughout this time, he enjoyed the good fortune to meet people with outstanding quality as professionals in the lens and more importantly, as individuals. Thanks to all of them.

The motive for the title of this picture (making a difference) is because I made a retrospective of what were my first and last draperies, and I think the difference in the quality and improvement has been remarkable. All thanks to the knowledge I have gained through this site, as I said earlier, with the collaboration of all of you, in advance and assume the challenge of continuing to improve, with simplicity and dedication.

The photo corresponds to a building near the Avenida Jimenez de Quezada in Bogota, with an architectural style itself and quite striking. Although unfortunately I do not remember the name of this work, the nickname the 'Building of Drawers' and within the graphic effect that sets out, chopping the similarity lamp which crosses, marking the difference.

I hope that is agreeable to all and to all of you again, a thousand thanks.

It's a really nice one, with the close up/zoom of a building façade in Bogota, making an interesting, eye-catching and truly beautiful geometrical effect!

the photo you have chosen to mark this occasion is very good, I like a lot how the odd details - the lamp, the branch in the upper left corner - emphasise the repetitive patterns of the building. perfect sharpness, excellent work.

Hola John,
te felicito por alcanzar el hito de las 100 fotos publicadas en TE.
A partir de ahora verás como alcanzas las 200, 300......y espero verlas.
Sobre tu foto de celebración, es evidente que tienes un buen ojo para este tipo de encuadres, el plano contrapicado da una elegante perspectiva, y has sabido crear una composición muy geométrica con los elementos de esta fachada, cuyos volúmenes y formas nos ofrecen un fuerte grafismo.
Es una foto creativa y efectiva, me gusta.

Para mi también ha sido un placer convivir contigo aquí en este espacio virtual y espero que nos continuemos encontrando y charlando acerca de nuestras fotos por muchos y buenos tiempos.

Nos presentas una arquitectura muy interesante y fotogénica, con la que lograste una imagen fabulosa, por el PdV, encuadramiento y nitidez. Es curioso como la miniatura me recordó el "Palacio de los Vientos", en Jaipur, India [1, 2].

Que hubo John!!! al fin tengo un tiempo para las fotos jeje. Esta foto me gusta muchisimo, tiene un efecto de trama que me encanta, ademas tu sabes que yo soy fanatico de la fotografia arquitectonica y de detalles, esta es realmente espectacular. Que hay John?,
Mira que me gusta la arquitectura moderna (las mas de las veces!), pero esto no es un edifício, es un asesinato...como diría Luís Aragonés recién ganador de la Eurocopa, es mas feo que un 2 caballos (en clara referéncia al vehículo de la firma Citroên). Otra cosa es la toma que has realizado, consiguiendo con éste encuadre cerrado una imágen muy gráfica y geométricamente repetitiva, a excepción de la farola que rompe con ése cánon.
