Photographer's Note

The Church of Saint Nicholas is the oldest in the city and was built in tribute of its patron, Saint Nicholas of Tolentine, in the second decade of the 17th century. Barraquilla, in spite of its low tourist flow except for Carnival, has a wonderful historic center, which has been restored lately. The church was reopened to the public in September 10th, the day of San Nicholas of Tolentine.
