Photographer’s Note
Another one of El Palacio de la cultura*** in Plaza Botero, where there are many scupltures of probably the most famous artist in Colombia - Fernando Botero (who specializes in oversized/overweight figures).
Medellin is the second largest city in Colombia, and i'm glad, as after a week of sailing from Panama, i was ready to be on land and enjoy the comfort of the city, including the rare yet efficient metro system.
***Many people has mistaken this as a church, including me. As I was researching for information on this building, i found out what is was, and here I quote:
"It was a gourverment building: 'El Palacion Municipal' and today is 'El Palacio de la Cultura'
The building is in black and olive green. I thought it looks better in black and white.

Hi Tasha,
good composition for this image.
I think the b/w choice works well for the pattern of the building bricks

Excellent composition of this photo;
very well defined, appropriate choice
of b/w and good perspective to appreciate
the architectural details of this important
building.
Thanks Natasha!
