Photographer’s Note

The "Park of the Lights" is quite a sight in Medellin. This is a typical hazy day overlooking the city that sits in a valley surrounded by mountains. I hope to post more pictures of Medellin. This time using the pictures I took on a camera that's a bit better than this one!

i like this composition with the park, the man and the taxi. only i wish that you had made either the man or the thingies in the park stand out more. that would have made it a much stronger picture, but good one anyway.

I really like this photo. The park is certainly interesting and the hazy sky somehow helps capture the strangeness of these large pillars. The man in the blue shirt, the girl sitting down, and the taxis driving by all add life and depth to the photo. Sure the quality isn't that great, but that doesn't even seem to matter with such an interesting subject matter. I love shots like this one that show me a place I've never seen before, rather than a perfect photo of a place I've seen a million times already.
