"Let's be friends" Photo

Photographer’s Note

Today, July 20, is a special day for Colombians; not only are we celebrating our independence, but like never before, millions of Colombians around the world are claiming for the freedom of hundreds that have been deprived from their birth right—their freedom by non-sense leftist ideologues. Today, we are claiming for peace, union, and the cease of violence in our beautiful, and yet to be discovered stunning country.

Another reason I posted this “Let’s be friends” photo is because here in TE I have gotten to know very beautiful people who I really would like to keep as friends!

Hope you have noticed the little guy the squirrel is talking to… ;-)

No matter how big or small... time to be friends !

Hola Maryori and muchas felicidades en este dia tan especial para tu pais. Realmente espero que algun dia pronto mejore la situacion en Colombia...Me gusta mucho tu foto y me sorprende que no te la quitaron pues pienso que es mas para TN. En todo caso es interesante pues captaste muy bien el zompopo. El uso de blanco y negro tambien le dan un aspecto artistico mas atractivo y sofisticado. Bonita foto Maryori y muchos saludos :-)

This shot reminds me of something like from a childrens story book scene. Love your idea of these high contrast silhouettes.

so you are naming and framing your photos? What's next, lugging around a tripod?

The repetitions of curves is nice, (I can tell by the leafs that is a sea grape tree) and the detail of the ant and squirrel's tail is pretty good. Happy Colombia independence day! Viva Uribe!

No se que es exactactamente lo que veo, pero se que me encanta! Gran encuadre y composicion gran manejo de la luz y perfecta opcion de b&n! Parece como sacada de un comix! Felicidades!

He observado por un buen momento esta foto, y me agrada la composición. Las siluetas estan muy bien definidas y el formato vertical es muy apropiado.

Trato de entender cual fue tu ángulo de tiro o como te ubicaste para captar esta escena.. pero no lo encuentro, pero ahi se hace interesante la toma

Eye-catching silhouette - reminds me of a paper cut-out - though I think I'd have to simplify the tail a bit knowing my proficency with scissors! ;)

Hi Maryori,
this is quite an unusual photo for TE, though lovely.
There´s noise and there´s softness, I guess your camera was at the edge of it´s abilities, but these technical imperfections are unimportant here. The impact is important and the impact is strong here.
And - following your note - I did not notice the tiny fellow. :-)

A very pretty picture in Blacklight in a very good Composition with the curves falling at the right mace to showed this hind animal ( un écureuil in french) a peacefull and high speedy squirrel.
A Interesting picture with good comments . Henri friendly from Belgium Liège' south east of the land)
