| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photograph shows what the wanderer will see when he or she enters the Chilenian Torres del Paine National Park from the eastern entry.
A small trail would take the wanderer trough rough although well beaten terrain. In the park there are lots of beautiful things to see.
Technical note:
I took this photograph with a medium format camera on film. Due to the fact that I did not carry a working light meter I had to guess the exposure. Hope that you like the result.
I scanned the film with Epson's 4990 Photo scanner. Post processing was done mostly in XNView (remove grain, sharpen, adjust colours). |

Hi Maik:
Sharpness is incredible, as would be expected from a medium-format camera, but the light isn't ideal and you've got some vignetting at the top left corner which could easily be fixed. In addition, there's not really a focal point in the picture. But it is a beautiful stark landscape.
Great views...great continent..Wooow!!
