Torres del Paine Photo

Photographer’s Note

French Valley (Torres del Paine National Park) is one of most amazing part of National Park on a photo you can see Granite walls of Cuernos (about 2700 above sea level). Granite rocks are like towers and castles along valley. Rocks are little yellow so afternoon light made them really beautiful. In this day it was snowing and it was cloudy in the morning, but my girlfriend made me go for a walk. After few hours clouds were gone and we saw this Rock Castle going out of the clouds.

This are 5 vertical photos I put together in one big panorama.

You succeeded perfectly to translate the idea of wildness on this photo: the river flowing, the snow, the sun lightning mainly the top of the mountains.

Hola Pedro,
Esta composicion me gusta mucho. El parque Nacional Torres del paine es un lugar maravilloso. Es un lugar al lado de paraiso, de verdad. Lo que puedo deducir de las composiciones tuyas es que Torres del Paine es un de los hay-que-ir lugares del mundo.
La foto me gusta mucho, pero las areas del bosque, las areas oscuras parecen demasiado negras... El azul del cielo i las nieblas blancas son fantasticas.
Gracias por la foto muy bonita y perfectamente hecha.

Beautiful composition of this fantastic place. The amount of visits to this photo and points make me think that it is completely underrated. This photo deserves more attention.
Maybe you are not participating much giving critiques?
The only problem with this photo are those areas underexposed among the trees. Besides that, great shot.

Fantastic landscape - looks incredibly harsh - from the freezing torrent, through the forests, the volcanic looking rockfields above and those awesome towers beyond. Magic.

Actually, this photo is excellent. Very well composition with beautiful colors, sharpness, clouds, lightning and rocks. You are right rocks look like towers. Very impressive landscape.

Fantastic and non-cliche shot of Torres del Paine. This is an area of the park we don't see too often. It seems a little over-processed, but otherwise it's fantastic. Great job.
