Photographer’s Note

In order to continue in sequence with the previous photo (seeing Valparaiso's Elevators I), I had the idea to assemble 2 photos of elevators, to the left lowering inside of the same and to the right, the image of the another wagon when he goes up.

Valparaiso is the capital of the Fifth Region of Chile, he places himself on an ample bay of the Pacific Ocean. The more important port comes from our country and congressional National headquarters.
Settled envelope numerous hills that an amphitheater in front of the sea, his houses and buildings form himself grasp to slopes with architectonic styles very particular. The sight of hills illuminated by night is unforgettable, and the elevators that transport his inhabitants are a tourist attraction very particular.

Valparaiso's 15 elevators, school implements and picturesque, they constitute one of the midways of mobilization of the population from the beginning of century; They increase in shape vertical for the slopes of hills, accessing different lookouts. All Valparaiso's elevators were declared Historical Monuments, although not everybody all at the same time.
