| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I went to visit my friends over Christmas in Iquique and had to learn that Iquique is apparently one of the best places in the world to learn paragliding. Due to the stable and dry conditions (it literally never rains because it is in the Atakama desert - the driest desert of the world) the wind almost always comes from the same direction. So in the afternoon you see people hanging with their wings at the sand dune in Palo Buque 12km south of Iquique. It is also possible to do tamdem flights and land right at the beach. Sounds not bad he? |
