Photographer’s Note
Following Bibi's today's post I decided to post a modest post of a "Valparaiso dogie"...
Smack right in the middle of the plaza, it was lying there half asleep. It was so humorous, that we could not stop laughing for an additional block...
:)
Somehow the dogs/cats of Valparaiso are so stoned, one ponders whether the city sanitation's officers are covering the streets of Valparaiso with dope...
LOL!
Contrast in this picture is quite high here, and I am quite dancing along the border of blowing the highlights. I posted in the WS the B&W version.
This picture is certainly not recommended watching after lunch at work...
;)

Hi Chen,
Very lazy looking posture, it just misses tongue hanging out. Tile patterns and shadows also follow somewhat the same format. I think highlights could be darkened a little.
I prefer the 'Noon Nap' title.

Hi chen! this is a great shot with a great use of light and such a typicla position for a dog at ease with its environment... great addition to the theme dedicatd to the departure of a grand photographer and friend!

Hi Chen,
A nice contribution to the Doggy Theme though the hightlights are a bit too strong in the top part of the image IMHO. This dog looks really cool!
Have a nice Sunday.

P.S. Thanks for the link to my photo! :o)

Hi Chen,
Good to see you again.A cute image and a perfect pose. What more does a dog like to do than laze around and roll on its back.I saw your comment about the contrast...I don't think its that bad...doesn't spoil the image.I like the shadows on the ground mixing with the wavy pattern.Very natural in my opinion.I have a "dog" image also waiting for upload...we'll see.Keep well and Shana Tova.
Regards, David

Haha, Chen, a great graphic and funny shot of this doggie, superbly exposed, often this pose is held for barely a few seconds, unless of course they are stoned doggies from Valparaiso ;-)
whatever it may be, a superb shot with a great graphic feel as the light shines and shadows fall on the tiles... bravo!

Great shot of a seriously blissed-out pooch! Exposure is spot on - even the highlights aren't burned out and the pattern of the pavement is retained. Paul.
