Photographer’s Note
Geisers del Tatio are one of the most interesting tourist attractions around San Pedro de Atacama. There are hundreds of holes in the ground, some of them are very little and other large with more than 2 meters wide. It is necessary to visit this place early in the morning cause it is when the geisers are more active. Then we found a very icy sunrise. Interesting to see frost water in a place and few centimeters ahead water boiling in the ground, smell in the air is bad but I had something very worst in the other side of Andes when I visited another geisers. Bolivia is located few kilometers far from this place. I took lots of pics in this place and skin of my face was damaged cause the cold temperature but it was a marvelous experience.

Hi Jorge,
Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo. I agree, it does get very cold. It was extremely cold when we drove to Lago Chingara. There was frost on our car when we left Putre one early morning.
I wanted to visit this part of the Atacama but didn't have enough time.

Olá Jorge,
Outro belo trabalho do Chile em "azul" Este é um tipo de trabalho que não se esgota em uma rápida olhada de "internet", mas atrai o olhar para observar com mais vagar os detalhes ...
Parabéns!

Hello Jorge
Good management of light with the barren hills in the sunshine and everything else in the cold and shadow. A unique location, Marlene
