Lago Tinquilco Photo

Photographer’s Note

Lago Tinquilco is one of many lakes in the national park "HUERQUEHUE".It`a small reserve located in the pre-Cordillera of the Araucania region,close to Pucon.
From this lake I started a nice but exhausting walking-tour,called "tres lagos".Exhausting because lago Tinquilco is at 700 meters and the 3 lakes are at an attitude of 1400m.
The 3 lakes are:Lago Chico,Lago Toro and Laguna Verde.
The snow covered mountain is volcano Villarrica(2840m)

Hi Andreas
Very nice view with great natiral color and a nice snow covered volcano as background. I am amazed with the volcano size beacuse altitude is very lower than on the chilean altiplano.

Great view of lake and the snowfull mountain. The Poing of View is excellent here. The deep subject like snow mountain is still looking great even from too much distance.

Very good wide angle landscape, with a strong sense of space and an outstanding POV.

Haha, da musste ich aber grad mal herzlich lachen! Hab grad im Moment das gleiche Bild gepostet! Kannte deins gar nicht. Bin dann darüber gestolpert. Naja, immerhin zeigt deins den Sommer, meins den Winter!

I was at this exact point you have taken this picture, but I didn't have this view for the day had become totally overcast (it wasn't before I started climbing the mountain in the national park of Heuerquehue).
I'm thankful to your pov so I could see what it was like!
