Photographer’s Note
The very first morning light adds an intense golden color to this actual grey rock formation, which belongs to the Pampa de Tara. I started in San Pedro de Atacama with my 4WD at 4:00 and reached the Pampa just before dawn.
The Pampa de Tara is close to the Argentinian border, some 4.500m above sea level.

Karsten,
My first glance at your image told me that his lizard? was throwing a jawbreaker in its mouth. Good depth and focus.
Congrat's for the eye to see this before the jaw breaker got away...

Karsten, I have to agree with your note. It is really nice and intensive light. You have combined beautiful rock formation with perfectly possitioned month. It looks bit like an open mouth of some monster. Well seen and done. L.

You have very few pictures in your gallery, but they are all very well composed, and with high quality.
This is one of the most originals and eye catching, in my opinion.
You should post more often !
