[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Easter Island, the statues are lined up regularly. Most of them have no eyes. They are huge and all are facing away from the sea and in cluster except this one, which is the famous white eyes statues. For unknown reason, this is the only statue that is facing the sea in Easter Island and standind alone.

The composition is brilliant, and what colors! You've made the stone come 'alive'. Well done.

I've always been interested by Easter Island. I hadn't seen this one before. It looks lonely. Nice sky colors

The moai statues of Rapa Nui are very photogenic. Your composition is very good. I like the different shades of blue in the sky.

Very good photo. The exposure and placement of the statue is perfect. Well taken...

Nice simple and effective composition of a much photographed icon. Totally drawn to the eys.

As simple as beautiful, it is a place where I dream to go one day.
This island is so mysterious.

Congrats! This is a really amazing shot of Moai Ko Te Riku.
Beautiful colors (especially the blue sky), nice POV and very sharp and detailed!

Just one notice: I think you mixed up Ko Te Riku with the Moais of Ahu A Kivi. As a part of the Tahai complex the Moai Ko Te Riku is facing inland, like all the other moais of the Tahai complex. On your photo the sea is just behind the Moai, some meters below.
The only moais that are facing the sea are those of the Ahu A Kivi, but this platform is not located on the coast, so one cannot say that they are really facing the sea. ;-)

Regards, Karsten
