Photographer’s Note

The desert of Atacama is most arid in the world. The temperatures fluctuate enormously between the night and the day, often close to 0° the night and approximately 25° with 30° the day. The fluctuations between the winter and the summer are weak because this desert is located at the limit of the Tropic of Capricorn. Picture taken near a laguna where flamingos leaves on the salar of Atacama...

Reflection is perfect, also the colors are great.. but especially I like the flamingos line.. is the plus of this picture and add great appeal to it.. excellent work, BRAVO+++

Re ... je disais donc que je preferais la precedente pour la simple et bonne raison que j'aurais bien aime voir les oiseaux dans l'eau ... bon ok vu ta position difficile ... il aurait fallu un peu de neige au fond et c'etait parfait .. tu as pris le numero des flamands pour un nouveau shoot ?

I like this image as it shows the differing landscape formations as it crosses the desert to the mountains, which also appear to be desert. I believe I saw an image last week on site that showed a village of this desert and spoke of the trade route across it.
A little tighter focus may have helped birds, but good shot none the less...

What a cool photo, Seb - the longer I look at it, the more relaxed I get. The reflection of the hills would already make for an appealing photo subject in itself, but it is genuinely elevated by the four flamingos flying above the scene. Very nice work.

Tes 2 images de reflets chiliens sont splendides. J'ai un petit faible pour celle ci pour le vol des flamants bien entendu.
