Lake Chungara it's claimed by the Chileans to be the highest lake in South America.
It's located at an altitude of 4400mt above sea level with fantastic views on Parinacota (6342m) and Sajama (4500m). The deep blue wild surface of the lake is plenty of birds and ducks.
I posted this photo upside down as I find it an unusual sight! :-) |

Hi Luca,
a nice play with the rulles of perception. You got to look twice.
Good idea and very well performed.
Thanks and regards, Gerrit
Hi Luca
Please change location. Lake Chungara is NOT located in the Atacama region. The region for this shot should be Tarapaca.
Thanks
