Photographer’s Note
Volcán Licancábur 5916m. The redness is due in part to all the dust in the as the sun sets. This was taken (obviously) before the moonrise shot posted earlier.

A wonderful landscape, Bruce. I like the contrast between the irregularities of the hills on the right and the smoothness of the distant mountains. I applied contrast masking (with opacity of 70% and gaussian blur of 30) and, IMO, it makes this even better.

Very nice landscape. I like the hard and dry terrain colors and the way the shadow projects on the plain. I also like the foreground, the rocks in the shadow. Composition is great.
I did a workshop to correct the colors that the haze in the air produced.

The play of the last sunshine is allways a good subject, here it is very well used. I also think Miguel made a fine improvement but I would go further on cropping both the low part and the sky.
