Patagonia Sur - Cabo De Hornos. Cape Horn is the southern most point of South America. While "rounding the horn" on the Veendam, the clouds broke and revealed the horn amidst a spectacular sunset.

this a fine example of being in the right place at the right time. Beautifully exposed and captured in one of the most extreme areas of our our amazing planet, Bravo.

Hey, the Horn doesn't look as frightening as they say! Might take my Trapper 28 round there next year. Or maybe across the Channel to France...
This shot is really superb and very atmospheric. I'm interested to know how much post-processing (if any) you did.
I've checked it out, to discover that the Veendam is a large cruise ship, so I'm less impressed than I was (although the image remains right up there!)
